The Everyday Dog pathway is designed for adolescent and adult dogs who have the basics—or perhaps never really learned them—and need to develop better manners, reliability, and impulse control.
This is about taking obedience out of the training room and putting it into real life.
Because your dog might know "sit" perfectly well in your living room. That doesn't necessarily mean they'll sit when the doorbell rings, when a squirrel runs past, or when you're standing outside the coffee shop.
That's where we come in.
Communication:
We'll work with you to solidify or teach your dog a communication system, so that you have a way to clearly and confidently communicate with them in order to live your life to the fullest!
House Manners:
We'll teach your dog polite door greetings, how to settle so you can enjoy a family dinner or movie night, skills to help navigate your home with a dog who doesn't always understand that they can't stand right there, and impulse control so they don't bolt out doors or grab that BBQ'd salmon you just dropped on the floor. Again.
Solidify Obedience
We'll make sure your dog's obedience skills are where you need them to be for your day to day life, so that you and your dog can live peacefully and happily, and enjoy whatever life's adventures bring your way, together.
And So Much More!
We will also start socialization and exposure exercises, field trips, proofing their skills in your home, your neighbourhood, and beyond, to make sure your dog is ready for most things life can throw at them!
Is the program right for you?
Is your dog 6 months or older? Do they struggle to listen outside the home? Having trouble settling when they're not being directly entertained? Or maybe you just want a dog that's easier to live with.
Then this is the program for you!
